Some of our psychologist’s are trained to complete comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments for adults. Adult Psychodiagnostic Assessments aim to identify psychological diagnoses (e.g., Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Personality Patterns, etc.) that can guide effective treatment plans.
These assessments evaluate an individual’s current mental health functioning by reviewing the diagnostic criteria for disorders using validated and standardized measures such as the Structured Clinical Interview for Diagnosis.
During each initial assessment appointment, which typically lasts for a minimum of 2 hours, thorough evaluations are conducted to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the client's psychological status.
Subsequently, a feedback appointment, lasting for an hour, is scheduled to discuss the results and recommendations. It is important to note that fees vary based on the specific assessment measures required and whether the client opts for a written report detailing the assessment findings.
Please contact Angelina MacLellan-Muise Psychological Services for more specific information based on your individual psychodiagnostic assessment needs.
Please note: we DO NOT currently offer school-related assessments, neuropsychological, ASD, cognitive, or adult-capacity/decision making assessments.
